As good as a video or television production is, it is important that it is marketed
and put in front of a target audience. If not, we have created an "orphan" that
doesnt have a home. Here are some innovative ideas that our clients have used for
making their videos work for them and ultimately pay for themselves.
We produced a recruitment video for a College in Mexico City that wanted to increase
their enrollment?
Problem!
How do we get to those potential students who are undecided as
to where they are going to continue their education?
IDEA:
Produce sufficient copies of the video to supply kids, who were going on their
Summer break. Also, SUPPLY THEM WITH MICROWAVE POPCORN. Have them throw little parties for
the friends and friends of friends and have them watch the video while eating popcorn.
RESULT:
A powerful recruitment program that resulted in record enrollments, and at very
little financial output.
We know a real estate agent by the name of Joe. He wanted to stand out from the
crowd, which is a slogan of a prominent real estate company. Real estate agents spend
hundreds and thousands of dollars on printed materials that often find their way to a
waste basket. We produced a five minute video for Joe, which included former clients
saying wonderful things about Joe, that he could not say about himself.
IDEA:
Produce 50 copies of the video and systematically place them in mailboxes in various
districts. With the video, a personal letter offering to pick the video up in a week and
answer any questions the householder may have about the value of his/her property.
RESULT:
Less promotional cost. The videos can be used again and again because they are never
thrown away and...... Joe has more leads and sales than he has ever had in his life!
