José María (Pepe) Noriega III is chairman and chief executive officer
of Signal Corporation, a leading provider of advertising and video communications for
the industrial and commercial industries in Mexico.
His work invites the viewer to take a journey into each piece.
Feelings
and emotions are stirred through his use of dramatic, yet subtle color, and powerful
imagery.
The symbolism of ancient and modern people grew out of their understanding, love,
and respect for the natural and scientific world.
Noriega believes in the
transforming power of ancient signs and symbols and uses them to create images that have a
bold, sculptural quality.
Paying attention to social issues and nature inspires Pepe to express in
his art our connectedness to the world.
Noriega has a background in science and technology of plastic
forms, graphics and printmaking, as well as in video and film making.
Drawing on these influences, he now paints on computers and
video systems using vibrant colors and powerful concepts.
He studied his Master´s degree at Brunel University in Uxbridge England
and at the University of México.
His work as producer has been shown in
Belgium, Spain, Holland, and the Unitad States, and throughout
the web.
