What are Focus Groups?
- Focus groups are research
studies where a meaningful group of 10-12 people meet to
discuss a common theme or interest.
- Led by an expert moderator,
who structures discussions, focus groups normally last 1½ -
2 hours and result in written and oral reports of findings.
Clients and sponsors often observe focus groups being
conducted or review videotapes made of them.
Who Uses Focus Groups?
- Focus groups are used by
market researchers, political analysts, advertising concerns
and public relations firms. They are also widely used by
government agencies, health organizations, private
businesses and non-profits.
The Signal Focus Group
Package
- We offer our clients focus
group services as a "package" or as single services.
- The focus group package
provides a convenient and cost-effective bundling of
services for the client who wants one or more complete focus
groups.
- In our paackage we perform
all the background research, develop the Moderator's Guide,
recruit respondents, provide facility rental (Gessell
Chamber), conduct the focus group interviews, analyze the
results and produce a written and/or oral report of findings.
- We also provide a
videotape of the sessions
- Discounts for multiple
focus groups are available with the focus group package.
Focus Group single services
- The focus group package is
usually the most economical way to develop focus groups.
However, some clients prefer to perform some tasks
themselves using The Signal Group to supplement their
efforts.
